Great tasting pizza! Good in pricing. Easy place to find.
Good crust. Beats your standard chains -

Disappointed when I order extra pepperoni
There was 8 pieces of pepperoni
not extra I paid for
Went 1 time
Probably not going again
When you pay for extra, and you don't get
Sad to say, won't go again. I
Like to support small business but not when you get what I got! Posted pics before
Too bad
Stick to what we know commercially
I'd really hope for better. -

Better than average pizza in Santa Maria places La Vera firmly at the top of my GOOD list.
A golden crust, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with perfect thickness is the star of this pie. In fact, had the sausage been better (they use the same reindeer poop looking sausage that Dominies used to use, or at least that's what it tasted like anyway) I'd have put LaVera in the EXCELLENT category. However, the lack of a fennel sausage and a sauce that was just "meh" (I needed to add sea salt when I got home and I used all of the grated Parmesan and most of the chili flakes to "flava" it up. However, this pizza was still a very enjoyable eat. It could have been WAY better but it's still very good and l at a very reasonable price. -

Update: Idk what's with this place recently but my last few experiences have been lackluster. There was a lady there who always was nice and used to make my experience great. I come in at the same time she's no longer there and I came in several times. I felt a bit uncomfortable with the new person there. I don't know if she's just awkward or just being disrespectful. Regardless, I wanted to get out of there fast. I thought at the very least I can enjoy my pizza. Well, I was wrong big time! I wanted extra sauce and I got a very very dry pizza. What else? The pizza was undercooked big time. I had to force myself to eat it honestly probably would have been better to throw it out. Also important to note, I had to wait 5 minutes before being reconginzed. Safe to say, I'll no longer be back. What a shame they were once really good!

Officially one of my favorite pizza spots in Santa Maria. Good, tasty and fresh pizza. Very meaty wings for less the cost of most other local pizzerias. Definitely good and inexpensive.
